Offerings to Cthulhu — Downloads

V2.1.3-NODENS · LATEST
⚠ This is a mandatory upgrade. v2.1.2 makes the emergency-difficulty escape valve functional. It accepts blocks that every earlier binary rejects — so once the first minimum-difficulty block is mined, a node running v2.1.1 or older will reject it and strand on a dead tip. If you are running anything older than v2.1.2, upgrade before that happens.
These files are an exact mirror of the official releases, verified against the checksums published with each one. This mirror is the canonical download — the release pages at github.com/dobbscoin/Offerings-to-Cthulhu/releases carry the notes and point back here for the binaries. You can repeat the checksum verification yourself with the SHA256SUMS files below.
Not sure what you are downloading? See the wallet first — the Eye of Cthulhu, the Codex reading Lovecraft's canon back out of the block history, and mining from inside Text Based Worship. The whitepaper, The Testament of the Restored Chain, is on that page too.

The Bloated Squid

Bloated Squid EditionMINES

The ordinary wallet is lean on purpose: it keeps the ledger and asks nothing of your machine. This one is not lean. It carries a Mining tab — solo, or pointed at a pool over stratum — with setstratum and getstratuminfo wired through to the console. Everything the lean build deliberately leaves out, this one drags along behind it.

It exists because the chain is mined by very few hands. When those hands rest, the tip stops moving and every transaction in flight waits. A wallet that can turn its own hashes over is one more hand — and unlike the others, it is yours.

Built from branch feat/issue-8-mining-tab-solo. It is not an official release, it is not mirrored on GitHub, and it is not the build to reach for if you only want a wallet — take the Nodens release above for that. Verify the checksum before you run it, exactly as you would with any of the others.

Older builds are kept for reference and node recovery. Use the latest unless you have a reason not to.
